Darren Baker's portrait of HM The Queen was unveiled in September 2011 to wide acclaim. The portrait, commissioned as part of the Royal British Legions 90th Anniversary. took the artist's work to a new level. Long recognised as a major talent Darren's work is now commanding ever increasing prices, with commissions reaching upto £90'000. We have always been delighted to offer Darrens work in the gallery, as Darren was born and raised in Huddersfield. He moved to the Cotswolds last year but has retained close links with his home town.

We are very proud to offer this painting for sale. Without doubt it is the most prestigious piece of work from Darren we have ever offered and, being larger than average for one of Darren's paintings, it is also fairly rare.
